The Reichert Celebration comes once a year and the top pleasure horses in the industry take Tulsa, OK by storm! It is truly a great show with lots of loot and recognition for exhibitors to ride for.

From the prestigious stakes classes to the youth team and the huge trade show, there is something for everyone. If you don't have a horse entered this year there is still lot's to see and do.

Below we take a look at the The Reichert and all the fun events happening on and even off the show grounds!





Reichert Sale

The Reichert Sale is held in conjunction with the Reichert Celebration. Video previews are available on the Reichert website of horses consigned to the sale.

Trade Show

The trade show at the Reichert Celebration leaves lots of shopping opportunity for show visitors and exhibitors. Make sure you drop by and check it out if you’re at the show!



Signature Classes

  • Equine Sports Medicine $250,000 Challenge: This is a class for two year olds that have not previously been shown under saddle and held each year. Only slot owners are able to nominate horses for a total purse of $250,000 paid out to the top ten horses.
  • Equine Chronicle 2 Year Old Color Classic: This is a class for two year olds that have not previously been shown under saddle and are registered with a color breed association. This class is held each year at the Reichert Celebration.
  • Hylton 3 Year Old & Older Maiden Western Pleasure Signature Class: This class is for horses that have not been shown prior to the Reichert Celebration in ANY riding event. There is also bonus money available to the highest placing non-pro, limited, intermediate, and color horse/color riders.
  • Sundowner 2 Year Old Intermediate Rider Class: Horses eligible to show in this class must be from the Reichert's $100,000 stakes sale.
  • Ron Reichert Memorial Novice $1,000 Horse 3 Year Old Non Pro Western Pleasure: A three year old novice horse class open to any non-pro rider. Horse in this class are eligible if they have not yet earned 10 points per event in any NSBA-recognized breed association or $1,000 in NSBA money per event.
  • 2 Year Old Non Pro Western Pleasure Class: Horse eligible for this class must be from the Reichert Celebration $100,000 stakes sale
  • 3 Year Old & Over Green Horse Hunter Under Saddle Signature Class: Eligible horses for this class must not have earned more than 10 points per event in any NSBA-recognized breed association or more than $1,000 in NSBA money.
  • Harris Yearling Longe Line Signature Class: This is a maiden class and is for horses that have not been shown prior to the Reichert Celebration.
  • Premiere Signature Trail Classes: This is a premiere series of trail classes including 3 & 4 Year Old Open Trail and Non Pro Trail. These classes will held in 2012 for horses purchased through the Reichert Yearling Stake Sale and only horse purchased through this sale are eligible to be nominated to compete.

Youth Activities

The youth team tournament is held in conjunction with the show each year. For one day of the show, youth exhibitors are randomly drawn into teams and choose 5 classes to show in from a list of classes offered.

The team tournament is for all breeds and members of the winning team will receive a $1,000 scholarship and a pair of boots. Members of the reserve team will receive a $500 scholarship and a hat.
